Context

Mi madre se ríe is a publication by the Spanish publishing house 8mm about the writings on the nature, intensity and cruelty of everyday life by filmmaker Chantal Akerman, who entrusted us, for the first time, with the material of all her work: her life.

Objective

Creating the book layout design, adjusting the text and images to each section or block, as well as supporting the translation into Spanish (the original edition being in French), with the aim of providing readers with an experience as natural and authentic as possible, in line with the artist’s vision.
